27/4/2009 - Release of Darwinfox 8.09-5 and Aquila announce
DarwinFox reach the end of its life cycle with this release.
At the moment it include linux kernel 2.6.25.20, thousand of packages inside repositories and documentation on this wiki.
All major bug are now fixed, this include usb problem and opkg issues.
The default package manager is now opkg.
This image was made with openwrt rev. 15375 and crisos rev. 127 ; used uclibc: 0.9.29 gcc: 4.1.2
The next release will be called “Aquila” and will support both foxboard an netus with linux kernel 2.6.29.x for both platforms.
8/2/2009 - Release of Darwinfox 8.09-4
Due to deep update inside OpenWrt we are now ready to release new stable version of Darwinfox
Changelog:
- Update usb driver to Axis sdk 2.20-5 (OpenWrt)
- Use ipkg instread opkg (workaround)
- Fixed media import inside kernel config (now video-support should work)
- CrisOs base files (as always CrisOs use different network configuration)
2/2/2009 - Most of changes merged with OpenWrt trunk.
I get access to OpenWrt trunk and so I was able to fix the etrax arch inside openwrt.
Some issues persist on OpenWrt. For an update platform status inside OpenWrt please refer to https://dev.openwrt.org/wiki/etrax

I like to improve community contribute to crisos wiki, now all website is freely modifiable by anonymous user after a Captcha check. Please note that page creation is still allowed only for registered user.

In the past two weeks I release a lot of fix for darwinfox release that improve the kernel configuration and the device auto creation! I hope this improve can help any developer!
